About the School

Puttenham Church of England School is a small Voluntary Aided Infant School for children aged between 4 and 7. We are a distinctively Christian school and have been at the heart of Puttenham village for more than a century. We are set in beautiful valley surroundings between Farnham and Guildford.

We have four classes for our three age groups of infant children which means that we have some mixed-age classes. We find that this works very well for our children as the expertise of our experienced teachers ensures that the needs of all our pupils are met because they differentiate their teaching.

Our aim is to provide a positive and supportive education for every child, based on Christian values. We encourage considerate, confident, positive, responsible children, who participate with enthusiasm in school life, are able to learn independently and develop lively, enquiring minds.

The majority of our children move on in year 3 to Waverley Abbey Church of England Junior School in Tilford, for which we are a feeder school.
