We run a number of events each term, aimed at children, parents and families. The events run are usually decided at the beginning of the academic year at the first PSA meeting in September, however new events can be slotted in at any time depending on interest and willing volunteers. The success of the PSA is really down to as many people as possible getting involved – with plenty of scope to choose something relatively small, or something more challenging, depending on your interests and availability.
Through fund-raising over the years the PSA has supported the school with many and varied activities and resources such as theatre trips, drama workshops, forest school equipment, interactive whiteboards, laptops and IPads, outdoor learning toys for the early years, furniture and books for the library, visits from Father Christmas and many more…….
There are 3 main events that we try to run every year, as they are hugely popular with the children, and also good fundraisers, and they are:
- Christmas Fair
- Easter Fun Day
- Summer Fair
In addition the following have been very popular over the last few years:
- Puttenham Bonfire and BBQ
- Quiz Night
- Camping Weekend
- Film Club
- School Disco
- Cake / Ice-cream Sales
- Second hand uniform sales
If you would like to volunteer for an event or have a suggestion for a new event, then please either come along to a PSA meeting and tell us about it, or email the PSA at firstname.lastname@example.org
