The Christmas Fair takes place this year on Friday 4th December 2015 in the Marwick Hall. It has been running for over 40 years and brings the school, parents and wider community together to enjoy Christmas fun, games and refreshments in the Marwick Hall.
This event is very popular with the children not least because they get the opportunity to go shopping for presents for family members and buy some of the ‘makes’. Each child brings a list of people they’d like to find presents for, together with some pocket money, and are helped to choose their gifts with help from volunteers from the village.
Parents then come along after school and join their children to browse and have fun with some of the activities.
2 books of tickets have been sent out via the book bags in the coming weeks, plus a list of all the fantastic prizes that you can win. Tickets are £1 each or £5 for a book for 5. Please sell them to your family and friends and return the money and stubs (and any unsold tickets) to Mrs Hazzard at the office (or in a marked envelope in book bags) by Monday 30th November at the latest. If you require any extra tickets then Mrs Hazzard will have plenty more – so happy selling. The draw will take place at the Fair.
