Welcome from the Chair of the Local Committee
On behalf of all the members of the Local Committee of Puttenham Church of England Infant School (Puttenham), I would like to extend a warm welcome and take this opportunity to explain to you how we operate.
In May 2024 Puttenham joined the Good Shepherd Trust, which is a multi-academy trust. This resulted in our existing governing body converting to a local committee of the Good Shepherd Trust. As a local committee, we are responsible for:
- Establishing the strategic direction
- Ensuring accountability
- Overseeing compliance
- Ensuring risks to the organisation are managed
Our local committee consists of staff; parents and other local figures, who each bring with them a variety of expertise and experiences. We meet regularly throughout the year.
We along with the Good Shepherd Trust are all committed to ensuring that Puttenham Church of England Infant school offers all children a wonderful start to their educational journey.
