Our Church

St John the Baptist Church

Puttenham Church of England Infant School is privileged to have strong links with our local Parish church, St.  John the Baptist, Puttenham. The church is an important part of the school and local community and we have a team from the church who come once a week to lead Open the Book assembly.

We regularly visit St John the Baptist church to enhance our learning and for services such as Christmas, Candlemas, Easter and our Year 2 Leaver’s Service.

We also host a BIG FISH (Believers In God, Faithful In Serving Him) Sunday service once a term to celebrate joining the school and church communities.

We are part of the Diocese of Guildford and are fully supported by the Diocesan Educational Development Centre in the teaching of RE and development of spirituality in school. We are fortunate to be near the Cathedral and use it as a learning resource for staff and children.
