Rabbit Class - Year 1

Welcome to Rabbit class!

Welcome to Rabbit class where we love teaching and we love learning!

Rabbit class is a Year 1 class with two teachers:  Miss Laver and Mrs Russi. Mrs Russi teaches on Mondays and Tuesdays, Miss Laver teaches on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Rabbit class are lucky to be very well supported by Mrs. Harrison on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mrs Price on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Rabbit class benefits from a large spacious classroom with its own toilet and a covered outdoor learning area to extend the learning that takes place inside. Our Rabbits love keeping busy with their learning both inside and out!

We really must not forget our class rabbit Bouncy who looks out for good learning behaviour all week and loves to go home with the ‘Star of the Week’ every Friday. 

A message from Miss Laver:

I love teaching and working with children. Their smiles and enthusiasm for learning is infectious! I really enjoy reading and being outdoors. Forest School is a particular highlight for me in the school year!

A message from Mrs Russi:

I also love teaching and learning new things all the time. Working with children makes me smile every day and I especially enjoy reading stories, singing songs and learning outside. An interesting fact about me is that I grew up in Canada. When I am not at school, I love being outdoors in my garden and going for walks in the countryside.
