Rabbit Class

Welcome to Rabbit class!

Welcome to Rabbit class where we love teaching and we love learning!

Rabbit class is a Year 1 class with two teachers:  Mrs. Russi and Mrs. Pinnegar.  Mrs. Russi teaches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Mrs. Pinnegar teaches on Thursdays and Fridays. Rabbit class are lucky to be very well supported by Mrs. Harrison on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Mrs. Shaw on Thursdays and Fridays.

A message from Mrs. Russi:

I love teaching and learning new things all the time. Working with children makes me smile every day and I especially enjoy reading stories, singing songs and learning outside. An interesting fact about me is that I grew up in Canada. I recently moved from London and when I am not at school, I love being outdoors in my garden and going for walks in the countryside. My hobbies include reading, going for bike rides, learning Spanish and travelling with my husband.

A message from Mrs. Pinnegar:

I also love teaching and finding out new things. Every day there is something new to find out and I love the enthusiasm that children bring to each day. I love gardening and growing, reading stories and making things. I have two grown up children, a dog called Millie and two chickens. My husband and I enjoy looking after our allotment, cooking and visiting new places.

Rabbit class benefits from a large spacious classroom with its own toilet and a covered outdoor learning area to extend the learning that takes place inside. Our Rabbits get very busy with their learning both inside and out!

We really must not forget our class rabbit Bunty who looks out for good learning behaviour all week and loves to go home with the ‘Star of the Week’ every Friday.
